Understanding Currency Conversion for GPay and Apple Pay
Updated over 3 weeks ago

In today’s interconnected world, making purchases in different currencies is increasingly common, whether you're traveling abroad or shopping online. If you use Google Pay (GPay) or Apple Pay for these transactions, it’s essential to understand how currency conversion works and how it may impact your payments.

Both GPay and Apple Pay depend on your bank or card issuer to handle currency conversion for international transactions. Neither app performs the currency exchange directly. When you make a purchase in a foreign currency, your bank or card issuer converts the amount into your home currency and deducts it from your account.

For more information, when you log in to your Talk360 account on your phone, you'll find additional details about Apple Pay if you're using an iOS device, or GPay if you're on Android.
