INR Payment Methods: Google Pay and Apple Pay Only

What is INR?

INR refers to Indian Rupees (₹), the official currency of India.

Payment method limitation:

If your app currency is set to INR (Indian Rupees - ₹), you can purchase call credits using Google Pay or Apple Pay only. Other payment methods are not available for INR (₹) transactions.


What you need to know

Google Pay and Apple Pay are the only supported payment options when using INR (Indian Rupees - ₹). This applies to all users with INR (₹) selected as their app currency.

This is related to how INR (Indian Rupees - ₹) payments are processed and supported, and is not caused by an issue with your account or the app.


Basic checks before purchasing

If Google Pay or Apple Pay does not appear during checkout, check the following:

  • Your device supports Google Pay (Android) or Apple Pay (iOS).

  • The payment service is enabled on your device.

  • You are signed in to your Google or Apple account.

  • Your device software is up to date.

Some devices, such as Huawei phones without Google Mobile Services, do not support Google Pay. On such devices, INR (₹) purchases cannot be completed.


Important note

For INR (Indian Rupees - ₹) purchases, only Google Pay or Apple Pay can be used to complete transactions.

If these payment methods are not available on your device, there is no alternative way to make an INR (₹) purchase.

This limitation applies regardless of location, account age, or previous payment methods used.
