Common Reasons Calls Fail
A call may fail or not connect because of one or more of the following:
Internet connection issues (weak or unstable Wi-Fi or mobile data)
Mobile carrier VoIP blocking
Country or government VoIP restrictions
The recipient is unavailable (phone off, no signal, already on another call)
VPN or proxy usage is interfering with call routing
Common Error Messages and What They Mean
“Initializing”
→ Your mobile carrier or network is blocking VoIP calls“Temporarily unavailable”
→ The recipient cannot be reached at that moment“Unable to proceed at this time”
→ A temporary network or server connection issue
What You Can Try Right Now
Try these steps in order:
1️⃣ Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data
2️⃣ Restart your device
3️⃣ Disable any VPN or proxy apps
4️⃣ Try calling again after a short wait
5️⃣ Call a different number to check if the issue is specific to one contact
