Why is My Call Quality Poor, Dropping or Silent?

If you are experiencing any of these connection problems, it is most likely due to unstable or poor internet connection. Here is what you can do.


Identify your problem👇

Dropped calls

Call connects but ends suddenly without pressing "End"

Causes = Weak or unstable internet, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile mid-call, the recipient losing signal during call

Or

Poor or/and silent call quality

The call stays connected, but the audio doesn't work properly

Causes = most often caused by device settings or network quality


What You Can Check

Follow these steps in sequence:

Check Your Internet Connection !!

  • Switch Wi-Fi ↔ mobile data

  • Avoid moving between networks during the call

  • Avoid weak public Wi-Fi

  • Ensure stable signal strength

Retry the call after switching

Turn Off Data Saver / Low Data Mode

These settings frequently cause silent, choppy, or unstable calls.

On Android:

  • Disable Data Saver for Talk360

  • Ensure background data is allowed

On iOS:

  • Disable Low Data Mode for your active network

Note: This is one of the most common causes of silent or unstable calls.

Disconnect Bluetooth or Headsets

External audio devices can interfere with call sound.

  • Turn off Bluetooth

  • Unplug wired headsets

  • Use your phone’s built-in speaker and microphone

Check Microphone Permissions

  • Open your phone’s app permissions

  • Ensure microphone access is allowed for Talk360

  • Make sure the microphone is not muted or restricted

Restart the App and Your Device

  • Close Talk360 completely

  • Restart your phone

  • Open the app and try the call again

Good to know: Carrier and government VoIP restrictions cannot be bypassed. Talk360 cannot override local telecom rules. Failed calls do not deduct credit from your balance.
