Dropped calls
Call connects but ends suddenly without pressing "End"
Causes = Weak or unstable internet, switching between Wi-Fi and mobile mid-call, the recipient losing signal during call
Or
Poor or/and silent call quality
The call stays connected, but the audio doesn't work properly
Causes = most often caused by device settings or network quality
What You Can Check
Follow these steps in sequence:
Check Your Internet Connection !!
Switch Wi-Fi â mobile data
Avoid moving between networks during the call
Avoid weak public Wi-Fi
Ensure stable signal strength- disable any VPNs, as they can interfere with call quality. Run a speed test to ensure a stable connection (minimum 1 Mbps, 5 Mbps recommended)
Restart your router or move closer to it if needed
Retry the call after switching
Turn Off Data Saver / Low Data Mode
These settings frequently cause silent, choppy, or unstable calls.
On Android:
Disable Data Saver for Talk360
Ensure background data is allowed
On iOS:
Disable Low Data Mode for your active network
Note: This is one of the most common causes of silent or unstable calls.
Disconnect Bluetooth or Headsets
External audio devices can interfere with call sound.
Turn off Bluetooth
Unplug wired headsets
Use your phoneâs built-in speaker and microphone
Check Microphone Permissions
Open your phoneâs app permissions
Ensure microphone access is allowed for Talk360
Make sure the microphone is not muted or restricted- Test your microphone by recording a short voice memo to confirm it works
Restart the App and Your Device
Close Talk360 completely
Restart your phone
Open the app and try the call again
Specific Audio Issue Scenarios
One-Way Audio
Test calls with multiple recipients to determine if the issue is specific to one contact.
Check your network stability and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Ensure microphone permissions are enabled and test your mic functionality.
Buzzing, Static, or Echo
Lower the speaker volume or switch to a headset to reduce feedback.
Close background apps consuming bandwidth or CPU resources.
Restart your router or move closer to it for a stronger signal.
Toll-Free Number Issues
Test your internet connection and switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
Disable VPNs and restart your device before making the call.
Note that long calls to toll-free numbers may disconnect due to limitations on the recipientâs network.- Close background apps that may be using the microphone (e.g., voice recorders, virtual assistants)
Update Talk360 to the latest version
Reinstall the app if issues persist
Good to know: Carrier and government VoIP restrictions cannot be bypassed. Talk360 cannot override local telecom rules. Failed calls do not deduct credit from your balance.
