Connect+ is a Talk360 feature that lets you place calls using your mobile carrier’s voice network instead of Wi-Fi or mobile data.
It changes how the call is connected, but Talk360 still handles the international routing.
What Connect+ Does
Normally, Talk360 calls use:
Wi-Fi, or
Mobile data
With Connect+:
Your phone uses its regular mobile calling network (PSTN)
The call opens in your phone’s normal calling screen
The call does not rely on internet quality
Talk360 still routes the international part of the call.
Why Connect+ Can Be Better
Connect+ can improve reliability because:
The voice connection does not depend on internet stability
It reduces call drops caused by weak data signals
It may improve call quality
Additional benefits:
No mobile data is used for the voice connection
If your plan includes free or unlimited local minutes, Connect+ can be cost-effective
Useful if your data is limited, but voice minutes are included
📌 Connect+ does not depend on the recipient’s internet connection (same as standard Talk360 calls).
Do I Still Need Talk360 Credits?
Yes.
Connect+ does not replace Talk360 credits.
Here’s how the call works:
Your mobile carrier handles the local access part
Talk360 handles the international routing
Talk360 credits cover the international portion
If you dial internationally directly via your carrier, standard carrier rates usually apply.
With Connect+:
Your local minutes cover the access leg
Talk360 credits cover the international leg
Talk360 rates are often lower than standard international carrier rates.
Will My Mobile Carrier Charge Me?
Connect+ uses your regular local calling minutes.
If your plan includes free or unlimited national minutes, the local portion is typically covered.
If not, your carrier may charge standard local call rates.
Roaming charges depend entirely on your mobile carrier.
If you are unsure, check your mobile plan details.
Calling While Roaming
If you are roaming or traveling abroad:
Connect+ is not recommended.
Why?
Your carrier may charge roaming voice rates
Roaming charges can be significantly higher
Internet-based Talk360 calls are often cheaper while roaming
If roaming is detected, you may see a warning before the call connects.
You can choose to:
Switch to an internet-based call, or
Continue with Connect+ (charges may apply)
Requirements for Connect+
To use Connect+, you must:
Have local or national calling minutes
Have Caller ID enabled (your number must be visible)
Use a SIM card that matches your Talk360 account number
If these conditions are not met, the call will not connect.
No Talk360 credits are deducted if the call fails due to these requirements.
Dual SIM Phones
If your device has two SIM cards:
The active SIM must match your Talk360 account number
If it does not match, the call cannot connect
This ensures correct routing and caller ID verification.
