No. You cannot use Talk360 to call emergency numbers such as 911, 112, 999, or other local emergency services.
This limitation applies to all VoIP calling apps, not just Talk360.
Why Emergency Calls Don’t Work with Talk360
Talk360 is a VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) service. This means calls are made over the internet, not through traditional mobile or landline networks.
Emergency services require:
Accurate real-time location tracking
Guaranteed network priority
Direct access to local emergency systems
VoIP apps cannot reliably provide this information, especially when:
You’re connected via Wi-Fi
You’re traveling or abroad
Your IP location doesn’t match your physical location
Because of this, emergency authorities cannot safely trace your location when calls are made through Talk360.
What Should I Use in an Emergency?
For any emergency situation, always use:
Your mobile provider’s regular calling service, or
A local landline, if available
Even without an active SIM plan, many phones allow emergency calls via the mobile network.
Important to Know When Traveling
If you’re abroad:
Emergency numbers may be different per country
Your local SIM or roaming network is still the correct way to call emergency services
Talk360 should never be used as a replacement for emergency calling
