Why some calls to Iran may not be connecting

Calls to Iran can still be unreliable due to internet and network issues inside the country.

Updated over a week ago

Overview

If you’re having trouble calling Iran with Talk360, you’re not alone. While there is no longer an active war, phone and internet services in some parts of Iran are still unstable. This can cause calls to fail, drop, or have poor sound quality.

Why is this happening?

Calls to Iran may be affected by:

  • Local infrastructure problems
Phone networks inside Iran are under strain due to the ongoing unrest, making it hard for calls to connect.

  • Unstable internet in some areas
Internet access can be slow or unreliable, which affects international calls.

  • Local network blocking
International calls can be limited or stopped by local networks without warning.

Because these issues change often, call quality may vary throughout the day.

What we’re doing

  • We work closely with our telecom partners to keep calls to Iran running where possible.

  • We regularly check and update call routes when better connections become available.

Important: These issues are outside our control, so we can’t guarantee that calls to Iran will always connect.

What you can try

If your call doesn’t go through:

  • Wait 30–60 minutes and try again.

  • Make sure the number includes the correct country code (+98).

  • Try calling at a different time of day.

Your credit is safe

Your Talk360 credit will not be lost.

  • Credits stay valid for 12 months after your last call or top-up.

  • Making a new call or adding credit extends your full balance by another 12 months.

If calls to Iran aren’t working right now, your credit will still be there when service improves.

Thank you for your understanding

We know how important it is to stay in touch with loved ones. While these network issues are outside our control, we’ll continue monitoring the situation and improving connections whenever possible.
