Is My Device Compatible With Talk360?

Check which phones and tablets are supported and which permissions are needed to make calls.

Updated yesterday

Talk360 works on most modern Android and iOS smartphones and tablets. To make sure everything runs smoothly, your device needs to meet the supported system and permission requirements.

This article explains:

  • Which devices are supported

  • How to check if your device is compatible

  • Which app permissions are required and which are optional

Which devices are supported?

Talk360 supports:

  • πŸ“± Android smartphones and tablets (Android 4.1 or higher)

  • πŸ“± iPhones and iPads (iOS 10.0 or higher)

Talk360 can be used on both phones and tablets, but there are important differences during registration and login.

Phone and tablet compatibility (important)

  • Registration and verification require receiving a verification code via SMS

  • The verification code can be received on any device that can receive SMS

  • Smartphones can always receive the verification code

  • Tablets can also be used, as long as they:

    • Have a SIM card, and

    • Are able to receive SMS messages (for example, tablets that support calling or SMS)

Important to know

  • Tablets that are Wi-Fi only or cannot receive SMS cannot be used to complete verification

  • If your tablet cannot receive SMS, you must receive the verification code on a mobile phone

  • Once your account is verified, you can log in and make calls on both phones and tablets

Is my device compatible?

Your device is compatible with Talk360 if:

  • It runs a supported version of Android or iOS

  • It has a working microphone

  • The Talk360 app is allowed to access the microphone

If you can open the app but cannot make outgoing calls, the issue is usually related to app permissions, not your device.

Which permissions does Talk360 need?

To protect your privacy and avoid confusion, Talk360 clearly separates required and optional permissions.

App permissions on Android

Required permission

🎀 Microphone – REQUIRED
Needed to make and receive calls.
Without microphone access, calls will not connect.

Optional permission

πŸ‘₯ Contacts – OPTIONAL
Allows you to quickly select numbers from your contact list.
You can still make calls by manually entering the number using the dial pad.

  1. Open Settings on your device

  2. Tap Apps

  3. Select Talk360

  4. Tap Permissions

  5. Set Microphone to Allow

  6. Set Contacts to Allow or Deny, depending on your preference

  7. (Optional) Enable Notifications for service updates

App permissions on iPhone (iOS)

Required permission

🎀 Microphone – REQUIRED
Needed to make and receive calls.
