How Do Favorites Work in Talk360?

Describes how favorite contacts are managed using your phone’s favorites and how they appear in the Talk360 app.

Updated today

Talk360 uses your phone’s favorites to help you quickly access the people you call most.

This article explains how favorites are determined and displayed in Talk360.

How Favorites Work Now

  • Favorites are managed in your phone’s contact app

  • Talk360 automatically syncs those favorites

  • You can no longer add or remove favorites inside Talk360

What You’ll See in Talk360

  • Phone Favorites (Synced)
Contacts marked as favorites on your device

  • Older Talk360 Favorites
Favorites added in the past may still appear temporarily
(manual favorites will be fully removed in a future update)

Priority & Duplicates

  • If a contact appears as both:

    • an old Talk360 favorite, and

    • a phone favorite

  • It is shown only once

  • Priority is given to Talk360 favorites (until fully removed)

When You Change Favorites on Your Phone

  • Removing a favorite on your phone removes it from Talk360

  • Adding a favorite on your phone adds it to Talk360

  • Changes sync automatically

Contacts with Multiple Numbers

  • Favorites show one selected number

  • If a contact has multiple numbers, it is grouped

  • Only non-duplicate numbers are shown

Good to Know

  • Favorites are not contacts

  • Favorites only control display order, not calling ability

  • To manage favorites, always use your phone’s contact app
