First: Two Different Types of Call Problems
Not all call issues mean the same thing. Identifying the type helps fix it faster.
Dropped Calls
The call connects but ends suddenly without you pressing “End”.
Common causes include:
Unstable or weak internet connection
Network handovers (switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data)
The recipient losing signal during the call
Dropped calls are usually related to connection stability, not call setup.
Poor or Silent Call Quality
The call stays connected, but the audio is unclear or missing.
You may experience:
No sound or one-way audio
Echo or noticeable delay
Robotic, choppy, or distorted sound
These issues are most often caused by device settings or network quality.
What You Can Check and Try
Follow these steps in order:
1️⃣ Disconnect Bluetooth or headsets
Audio devices can interfere with call sound.
2️⃣ Check microphone permissions
Make sure Talk360 has access to your microphone.
3️⃣ Turn off Data Saver / Low Data Mode
These settings often cause audio loss or instability. *Data Saver (Android) or Low Data Mode (iOS) is one of the most common causes of silent, choppy, or unstable calls and should always be disabled for Talk360.*
4️⃣ Switch networks
Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
5️⃣ Restart the app and your device
This clears temporary audio or system issues.
Important to Know
Most call quality issues are device or network-related
These issues usually do not require escalation
Talk360 cannot control local internet quality or device settings
