You can manage certain app and contact settings yourself, but your Talk360 account is permanently linked to your phone number and cannot be changed.
When this happens
You want to update account-related details, adjust settings, or understand what parts of your Talk360 account you can control.
Why this happens
Talk360 uses your phone number as your account identity. To protect users and prevent fraud, some account details are locked and cannot be edited.
What you can do
Manage app-level settings (on your device)
You can control the following directly through your phone or tablet settings:
Notifications
App permissions (such as microphone or contacts)
Other device-related preferences
These settings are managed on your device, not inside the Talk360 account itself.
Add or update an email address (optional)
You can add an email address to your account
Email verification is optional but recommended
If an email is incorrect or unverified, updating it may require assistance
What you cannot change
For security and fraud-prevention reasons, the following cannot be changed on an existing account:
The phone number linked to your account
The account ID associated with that number
These restrictions prevent unauthorized access and misuse.
If you registered with the wrong phone number
If you used the wrong phone number when registering:
Log out of the Talk360 app
Register again using the correct phone number
Complete SMS verification
The original account cannot be edited to replace the phone number.
What Talk360 can and cannot control
β Allows you to manage app permissions and optional contact details
β Cannot change or replace the phone number or account ID on an existing account
When this is expected behavior
Locked account identity details are a normal and permanent part of how Talk360 accounts work.
When to contact Support
Only if you need help updating an email address or reviewing an account created with the wrong number.
