I Registered With the Wrong Phone Number — What Should I Do?

Find out what to do if you signed up with the wrong phone number and how to continue with the correct one.

If you registered with the wrong phone number, you must create a new Talk360 account using the correct number. The original phone number cannot be changed.

Each Talk360 account is permanently linked to the phone number used during registration.
For security and fraud-prevention reasons, phone numbers cannot be edited or replaced on an existing account.

What to do next (corrective action)

  1. Log out of your current Talk360 account

  2. Register again using the correct phone number

  3. Complete verification for the new number

This creates a new account linked to the correct phone number.

What happens to the remaining credit

  • Credits do not automatically transfer between accounts

  • If your previous account has remaining credit, you may:

    • Transfer it using the in-app Share Credit feature, or

    • Request a manual review by providing both the old and new phone numbers

If there is no remaining credit, no action is required.

What Talk360 can and cannot do

Talk360 can:

  • Allow you to create a new account with a different phone number

  • Review eligible requests related to the remaining credit

Talk360 cannot:

  • Change or correct the phone number on an existing account

  • Merge two accounts automatically

When to contact Support

Only if you need help with:

  • Reviewing remaining credit

  • Transferring eligible credit between accounts
