Why Do I See “You Are Out of Call Credits”?

Learn why you may see the “You are out of call credits” message and what it means.

Updated this week

You see this message when your available balance is not high enough to start a call to the selected destination.

The message appears before the call connects, and no credits are deducted.

In the popup, you can:

  • Tap OK to close it

  • Tap Top-Up to buy more credits

This message appears when:

  • You try to place a call, and

  • Your current balance does not meet the minimum amount required for that destination’s per-minute rate

Why This Happens

  • The call rate is higher than your available balance

Talk360 checks the destination’s per-minute rate before starting a call.
If your balance is lower than that rate, the call cannot begin.

  • The phone number format is incorrect

An incorrect or missing country code can cause the app to apply a different rate than expected.

  • Credits were added, but not fully refreshed yet

After a recent top-up, the app may briefly need to refresh before showing the updated balance.

What to Do Next

  1. Check the call rate shown in the app for the number you are calling.

  2. Confirm the phone number format, including the correct country code.

  3. Restart the app if you recently purchased credits.

Once your balance meets the required rate, the call can start normally.

How to Check Calling Rates

  • In the app, open Calling Rates to see prices per country.

  • You can also view rates on the website.

  • In Contacts, the per-minute rate is shown under each phone number.

What Does Not Happen

  • No credits are deducted when the “You are out of call credits” message appears.

  • The call does not connect until the balance requirement is met.
