How do I purchase Mobile Top-Ups and use the Shop360 feature?

Talk360 also allows you to send mobile top-ups using Shop360. Learn how you can purchase mobile top-ups and what is it used for.


What is Shop360?

Shop360 is a mobile top-up feature inside the Talk360 app.

It allows you to purchase:

  • Airtime (talk time)

  • Mobile data

  • Bundles (carrier-defined packages)

The value is delivered directly to the recipient’s mobile carrier, not to a Talk360 wallet.

Mobile top-ups work only for mobile numbers. Landlines and wireless home phones are not supported.

Note: Shop360 and Talk360 Call Credits are completely separate product.


Here is how to purchase and use Shop360👇

Step 1: Open Shop360

  • In the Talk360 app tap Home, or go to More > Mobile Top-Up

Step 2: Enter the Mobile Number

  • Select from contacts or enter the mobile number manually

  • Use international format (example: +254…)

  • Only mobile numbers are supported

Step 3: Select or Confirm the Carrier

  • The app detects the mobile provider automatically.

  • If it is incorrect, change it manually by tapping Change

Step 4: Choose the Top-Up Product

Depending on the provider, you may see:

  • Airtime/ Call Credits

  • Data bundles

  • Fixed packages

  • Custom amounts (if allowed)

Step 5: Review Before Paying

Check that this information is correct:

  • Phone number (who you want to send it to)

  • Carrier

  • Product

  • Total amount

Important: Top-ups cannot be changed after they have been sent to recipient

Step 6: Complete Payment

Select how you would like to pay:

  • Use your Talk360 Wallet if you have sufficient paid credits, and tap Confirm.

  • Or choose an available payment method and tap Continue to Payment.

Follow the on-screen instructions to finalise your purchase.

Step 7: Checking your purchase

After completing payment, you will receive confirmation in the app.

If the payment is successful, you will see: Purchase Successful.

You can also view this confirmation under the Notification in the app.

Recipients can verify their updated balance directly with their mobile carrier using their usual balance-check method.
