In rare cases, you might dial a number using the Talk360 app but get connected to the wrong person. This is known as a cross-connection issue, and we understand how confusing and frustrating it can be. We're here to help you resolve it as quickly as possible.
It’s also important to know that the issue might not always be from our side; sometimes, the recipient's local phone carrier may be misconfigured, causing your call to be redirected incorrectly.
What to Check First
1. Dialing Format
Make sure the number is entered correctly. If you're calling internationally, always include the full country code. For example:
+31 9876543210
(not 09876543210
)
2. Try Manual Dialing
Manually enter the number using the international format instead of calling from saved contacts. If the call goes through correctly this way, update your contact entry to avoid future issues; this also helps Talk360 process the number correctly.
Information We Need to Investigate
If the issue continues, please contact our support team with the following details:
The number you dialed
Whether this happens with one number or multiple
The last time you successfully reached the correct person
A short description of what happened during the call, such as:
Did a stranger answer the call?
Did you hear part of someone else's conversation?
Did you hear an unexpected automated message?
These details help us investigate if it's a routing issue, a number reassignment, or something else.
⚠️ Additional Tip:
Please also check with your local mobile provider if the issue occurs when calling the same number from your regular phone line (outside the app). This helps determine if the problem is on our side or related to your local network.
We're committed to resolving these issues as quickly as possible and appreciate your patience. Thank you for choosing Talk360.
